From Paris With Love

'Avatar' set to be the second highest all-time grossing movie

The movie is set to overtake Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King as the second highest grossing movie. Guess what movie is number one? James Cameron's other movie Titanic which grossed 1.84 billion dollars.

Susan Boyle stays on top for another week

Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" stayed on top of the billboard chart for one more week selling 137,000 and taking her album 3X platinum (3,104,000 copies sold so far). However it wasn't enough to make her the top selling act in 2009, that would go to Taylor Swift who sold 3,217,000 copies of her album in 2009. Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" was the third highest selling album in 2009 with 2.36 million copies, Lady Gaga's "The Fame" was fourth with 2.24 million and Andrea Bocelli's "My Christmas" was fifth with 2.21 million copies.

In the chart this week, Lady Gaga's "The Fame" climbed to second place with with 82,000 copies. I have been playing the album for the past week, I don't like all of it but I cant get "Bad Romance" out of my head. Alicia Key's "The Element of Freedom" finished at second place with 80,000 copies sold. I really like the album, I think it is a must have if you are an RnB fan. Mary J. Blige's "Stronger With Each Tear" finished at fourth place with 62,000 copies sold this week.
